St Andrew’s is a 15th Century church and like many it underwent extensive renovation in 1860s when the interior was decorated with 156 angels in wood and stone.

In 2013 modern facilities were added to provide more flexible community use. In the tower hang bells cast by the local Bilbie family, still rung regularly by the local band. We have a very strong link with the CofE Primary School Academy in the village, holding services in school and church.

Interactive Church of England Service.
Reverend Lovern hosts an online service at 10.30am each Sunday. You need to have Zoom installed on your computer / device, and then Google / register with ‘the Meditation Chapel’. You can then see the calendar and log onto the Church of England service each week. The service is live and participatory.
Please note:  it is really important that every person registers individually, so once you have done so, please do not share or forward your link as this leaves the chapel vulnerable to intruders.
